A comedydrama filmed in the style of Dogme 95 about two hitchhikers travelling together. A chance meeting turns into mutual fascination, full of tension resulting not only from the characters’ different temperaments, but also from their emotional entanglements. Adrien, who dreams of a career in acting, answers a call from a girl he is trying to escape from. In her wallet, Zoé keeps a picture of a mysterious man with whom she is supposed to meet. Amélie van Elmbt tells a simple story, utilizing the sructure of a classic road movie. However, she makes it moreinteresting by using a wide range of deeply rooted emotions, giving the film an exceptionally fresh flavour.
