Buoyant
L’envolFRA / JAP 2015 4’
DIRECTED BY: Hajime Kimura
SCREENPLAY: Hajime Kimura
PRODUCED BY: LES VALSEURS – Damien Megherbi, Justin Pechberty
Kimura portrays the most common dream in art flying over a city during the night. During one of such nights, a small boy meets the animals who surround him by day, but this time, they appear to be a bit different. An animation made in Photoshop, it imitates hand drawn, blurry paintings, lending the film its dreamlike atmosphere. The mood is complemented by music composed by the French group Saycet.
