Thanks to paintonglass animation, the artist behind “Carapace” managed to create very pictorial shots, which help her drag the audience in to the intimate story of Lili and Leo and their unsuccessful attempts to consummate their relationship. It’s a film about lust one which cannot be satisfied and slowly turns into frustration.
