Acoustic ecologist Gordon Hempton, definies silence not as lack of sound, but the absence of noise generated by the contemporary civilization. Thanks to VR, we can experience such quiet by visiting the virginal Olympic National Park in North America.
VR presentations take place daily, divided into two blocks: 2pm – 5.45pm and 6.15pm – 10pm. Tickets are valid for the entire day and grant entry to all presentations on the day they were bought. For example: a ticket for any presentation on 25.09 allows entry to all four presentations that day (2pm – 5.45pm “Smolik // Kev Fox On the Road” and “Sanctuaries of Silence”; 6.15 – 10pm: “I am a Man” and “GNOG”).
