As per the instruction given by his father, the teenaged Martin visits the Brazilian province with his friend Thomaz to finish some family business. A visit to a sleepy summer resort is supposed to be an opportunity to party. However, it becomes something much more important for the boys. In their debut, the two directors speak about a moment in life which is rarely portrayed in film – the undefinable beginning of adulthood. The protagonists went through all the initiations, now they have to face their consequences. Various borders blend in “Seashore”: between childhood and adulthood, friendship and love, the sea and land.

Marcio Reolon & Filipe Matzembacher
