short animations set from London’s Royal College of Art, 70’28.09 TH 7.00 PM @Akademia Sztuk Pięknych
Diploma animations are often gateways into the artworld, the first calling card which can lead to festival red carpets, doctorate lectures or straight into the universe of challenges and deadlines in advertising or film companies. This year’s set from the London university shows that its graduates can go where they want. These are mature animations which don’t flaunt flashy techniques, but rather rebel against contemporary understanding of beauty. The specifics of working at the Royal College of Art will be introduced by its graduate, Karolina Głusiec.
