In a retromanic video invoking the ‘70s we embark on a surreal journey to the Paradise’s tree of the knowledge of good and evil. On the way, the suit-clad handsome and his companion – a shape-shifting girl – get tangled up in many unusual situations. Every stage of this odyssey pulls the viewer deeper and deeper into the world of illusion and symbolism. Hinds’ indie rock sound perfectly fits into the counterculture search for identity through a metaphysical escape from civilization. But it’s not completely serious. Pedro Martin-Calero utilizes the absurd atmosphere to simply play a game of culture charades with the audience.
