Ricardo is a young punk who spends his days drinking, going to gigs with his best friends and looking after his beloved grandmother. One day, after drinking a strange concoction, he gains superpowers and decides to change the world. Unfortunately, the situation spirals out of control and events escalate in unpredictable directions. In his Berlinale-acclaimed feature debut, Fuentes plays with the form and conventions of the superhero film: by juxtaposing them with raw punk energy and a stark visual style, he creates a subversive, anti-capitalist and ironic manifesto for the younger generation.
