Three stories, three men, three different perspectives on the complexity of violence. Jorge Forero avoids confronting his protagonists’ different views and giving social diagnoses of his native Columbia. In an attempt to uncover the very essence of aggression, he offers a spectacular, but also painful show, where the audience participates in the cruelty. He forces us to patiently watch both the victims and their oppressors (with the brutal acts staying generally offscreen, but losing nothing of their unsettling nature nad power). This tension implants a thought: that violence is always in and around us, fueling a giant machine, one more powerful than a single person can ever be.
