White Out

White Out’s music video is a sequential series of static images. We see a hen with no feathers on her neck, how she breathes with her beak open. Then the face of a man holding her and eventually the man himself, sitting on a donkey. Where did he come from? Where is he going? There’s no dramatic finale around the corner, there are no answers, these mysteries and puzzles will remain unsolved. This is a thriller in the world of music video, the “Alien” of its medium. The hen will live – but be on guard, as nothing suggests that this is the finale of this dramatic tale.
